Election maps…the game?

Recently I’ve been play Roll & Write games. These are simple games involving dice, a printed sheet of paper, and a pen or two. Players roll dice and use the score to write something on the paper. They’re quick, relatively easy games.

I’m drafting one based on an election. My sheet shows a map divided into five constituencies, each with a different threshold for winning a seat. Players roll dice first to see how strong they are in that area, and then to see how many votes they receive — except the voting can be influenced by campaigning. Each player has extra campaigning points to spend across the map, which enable them to flip dice, add one to the score, or match another die.

So, I think “Roll for Representation” might be coming soon… version one has already been replaced by version two, so it might even be done by the end of the week!
